Clinical supervision is a necessity of working towards your license in mental health counseling. If you are looking for a clinical supervisor with more than 15 years of experience in outpatient, school-based, college, online, and residential treatment, I may be your match. I have worked with diverse populations including those incarcerated and involved in the justice system. I have experience in mental health, drug and alcohol, and sexual offender counseling. The majority of my work has been with adolescents and young adults struggling with identity concerns, stage of life issues, and sexual wellness. I have experience supervising counselors working in a variety of settings including college counseling centers, career development centers, disability resource centers, forensic and probation sites, with veterinary students and in a small animal clinic, community counseling and private practice, and with school counselors. My focus in supervision, as you can see depicted below is on your professional and personal development as a counselor. We will focus on the experience of being in the counselor role and sitting with clients. My level of support and challenging will be determined by your developmental level as a clinician.
